This is where it all started.  We opened this location on April 9, 2014 so we could serve amazing coffee and provide a great atmosphere to our customers in Danville, IL.

Since our very first day, Mad Goat has been a micro-roastery as well as a coffee shop.  We originally roasted all of our coffee inside this location on a 1986 five kilogram Probat restored by owner Drew Landis.  We worked hard to ensure the coffee we provide is freshly roasted and the best quality green beans we can source.

We have updated this location over the years, and have moved our roasting operation to our roastery located by our South Danville location.  However, this original location continues to hold a special place in our hearts and for many of our customers that still frequent it.

Although it is modest in size, it has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that has made it a favorite place to gather and study for about a decade.  We plan on continuing to serve North Danville from this location for many more years to come.
