Mexican coffee is a great reflection of how far specialty coffee has come. Formerly regarded as only a low-grade blender, many Mexican coffees have now achieved the highest quality, consistently.
We still use it as a blender (it often features prominently in our espresso), but it shines on it's own too. Chocolatey with a nutty finish, and roasted dark by our standards, this coffee is perfect for the West Coast style dark-roast junkies out there.
This particular coffee comes from the buffer zone of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, check out this video about this special ecological zone.

This coffee shop is my new favorite! I can't get enough of it!
This is the most balanced bean - wonderful, rich, mellow.
Delicious!
One of those basic solid coffees that goes with all foods or tasty on its own. Not sweet or smoky, not burnt or acidic. Nuttiness comes thru more for us. Only our second bag of Mad Goat (after Papua New Guinea- loved that). Found them traveling from MD to Iowa, sampling roasters in every state. Mad Goat was the best! Thanks!
This is our favorite coffee!
